Many people have issues with their bodies. Whether it is too much weight or not enough, pain and suffering or aging, very few of us seem to be happy with what is.

This book gives you a new way to look at yourself. It opens a conversation between you and your body. That’s right. The authors give insight into how our repetitive thinking and feeling influence our bodies. The conversation requires you to ask questions and then pay attention to your body (and your intuition) for the answers. After all, your body knows why it does what it does. It’s up to your conscious mind to set your body free.

I have so many things highlighted, that I wish I could share all of them with you.

Golden Nugget: Instead of ignoring pain, ask yourself:

  • “Okay, body, what do you need from me here?

  • What do you require?

  • What do you desire?

  • What are you telling me that I’m not willing to hear?” (p. 121)
