Rules Lie

Ladies’ Night In was last night. Each month, I invite a few female friends to get together and chat at my home. In October, we had a bonfire. November was busy and I was out of town more than I was in (or so it seemed), so we skipped November. December’s Ladies’ Night In was a bust. Only two people could come. But as the date neared, we decided to go to downtown Chicago and ended up with five of us. Two friends from downtown could now join us. Spiritual Haircut

It seems that as soon as I took the pictures for this website, I decided to grow my hair. It grew longer and longer until having it in a long swinging ponytail was the preferred style. I thought I liked it, but a part of me was thinking otherwise. So, for almost three years I’ve been debating the whole haircut issue.

Goodbye Corn Syrup

I recently decided (with my doctor’s urging) to eliminate all corn…that includes corn syrup, corn starch, and a zillion other corn related things. This was on top of already eliminating wheat, dairy and a few other odd items. And of course, this was two days before the boys and I were going to Door County for a short, end-of-summer vacation. I’d already eliminated corn, but truth be told I cheated with popcorn once in a while. I never made it for myself, but if Adam has some, how dangerous could a handful or two be?
